Google Announced Deprecation of the Google Earth API

Google Earth PluginToday Google had announced the deprecation of the Google Earth API, Which was introduced six years ago for the JavaScript developers to build rich 3D mapping applications in the browser.

The main reason for Google to announce deprecation of Google Earth API is Chrome and Firefox’s decision to stop support for the NetScape Application Programming Interface due to various security concerns. Since Google Earth API is built on the NAPI Framework technology the company said that they want to remove the support to Google Earth API,

And not just this one reason there is one more main reason for the deprecation of Google it is lack of cross-platform support on mobile devices.

Google said the API will be completely  shutdown after one year exactly from this date i.e on 12 th DEC 2015 there will be no more Google Earth API.
